A stunning 1970s Murano swirl ball pendant by glass master Lino Tagliapietra (born 1934-) for La Murrina. This large ball light is expertly hand-blown in clear glass with white swirls and includes its original chrome lamp holder and ceiling cup. A rare find.
Found in Piemonte.
Condition: Very good. This vintage glass lamp is in very good vintage condition with very minimal wear and some age-related patina to the chrome. This piece has the maker's mark on the glass. The glass is intact with one small chip in the rim that is not visible and does not affect its functionality. The electrics have been professionally rewired in Finland. Takes an E27 bulb.
Dimensions: Total height 162cm incl. wire and ceiling cup. Ball diameter circa 45cm. The wire can easily be shortened if needed.
