Whether your Dodge Ram 5.9L/6.7L Cummins is a dedicated tow vehicle, hardworking fleet truck, or a daily driver with a liking for the drag-strip, you need to ensure that your transmission runs cool. Luckily, Mishimoto has developed a direct-fit transmission cooler to do just that. The 2003-2009 Dodge Ram 5.9L/6.7L Cummins transmission cooler utilizes a stacked plate core for durable and powerful cooling. With a massive 212% greater core volume and 244% increase in fluid capacity, this trans cooler is a huge improvement over stock Dodge Ram 5.9L / 6.7L Cummins transmission cooler.

The Mishimoto transmission cooler is not only larger than the stock cooler, but more reliable too. When the stock cooler’s thermostat fails, it fails closed, bypassing the cooler and returning hot fluid to the transmission. Mishimoto has solved this common issue by making the thermostat in our 2003–2009 Dodge Ram with a 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins transmission cooler fully serviceable and easily bypassed for constant cooling. A port located at the top of the cooler provides easy access to the thermostat for servicing in just a few minutes. Replacement thermostats can be purchased individually if needed; no more replacing the entire cooler if the thermostat fails. Owners in cold climates can still enjoy the fast warmup times that the thermostat provides, while owners in hot climates can choose to bypass the thermostat by replacing it with the supplied stainless-steel bypass plug.

To make this cooler even easier to install and service, Mishimoto saves you the hassle of removing seized fittings. The provided CNC-machined, stainless steel hose barb fittings let you cut to the chase, literally. These fittings and the supplied transmission cooler hose allow you to remove the quick-disconnect fittings and connect the stock soft-line to the Mishimoto cooler.

Fine Simple Product, Works as Advertised

Performs as advertised, a simple upright divider. I use it to mark my "office" space when working from home. Assembly was straightforward and well documented. One person can do it, but a second person can be helpful when sliding the fabric divider pieces onto their poles. Part quality is fine for the price point. The only mild annoyance is that the upright poles can start getting loose from the metal feet, and need to be retightened occasionally (Allen wrench is included, keep it handy for retightening). It's fairly lightweight and easy to reposition, but the feet are heavy enough to keep it steady once placed. All in all, a good product. I was pleased enough to buy a second one when my son wanted something to block sunlight from behind his computer desk.

Wobbly and Poor Design

Update: nope! Not worth the money. My cat simply brushed against the divider, and it fell, knocking breakable things over. Not safe! It serves it's purpose, but...the screws were basically glued to the packaging. It took me longer to get the screws out of the packaging than it did to put it together. The assembly was easy. I am not mechanically inclined by any means, but the instructions, despite being very hard to read (I have over 40 eyes), were pretty simple. Structurally, it is very wobbly. I think they should have designed it with a middle rod to keep it more stable. I find that the attachments to the rods are wobbly and should have been screwed rather than popped into an attachment hole without reinforcement. That would have also made the room divider more stable. I have cats, but the material is easy to clean. I took a damp cloth to it, and it came right off. As far as see-through...I think it does a great job of masking theO other side of the room.. I just wish it was a little longer and closer to the floor stand. I like that it came with extra parts. It's just a very cheaply made item, and I don't think the price for the item reflects how cheaply it is made, how wobbly and unstable it is, or the poor design.
