In order to guarantee impeccable, reliable performance (even with the new wider cassette ratios) plus precision shifting by the front and rear derailleurs, the design of this 12 speed chain has entailed a tremendous amount of research and development by Campagnolo's R&D Engineers. The 12-speed chain needed to be as reliable and long-lasting as the 11-speed chain, despite being narrower. The 12-speed Chorus groupset benefits from a new 12-speed chain that ensures the same reliability and performance levels as that of the Super Record, with constant, extremely high performance levels over time.
