The glaze stops just above the four finely hand-drawn lines of rainbow colours  - saffron yellow, parrot green and French blue - which contrasts with the unglazed surface of the white porcelain clay below. Not having a handle is an asset when it comes to finding space for this small jug in your fridge or cupboard.
