In his youth, Ernie was focused on drinking and partying, choosing to spend his summer working in a summer camp with his friend. It was here he met the love of his life, Jamie. When Jamie becomes pregnant, their families rip them apart, neither side willing to let their child marry someone outside of their religion.

After his time in the Navy during the Vietnam War, Ernie returns to Jamie, whisking her off to start a life together with their daughter. But it is here that Ernie’s life is thrust into the global scale after a fateful encounter with the Prince of Griffin Park.

About the Author

Ray Kesling spent his youth in the merchant marine. He spent 21 years in law enforcement and retired after 20 years as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy, mostly as a reservist with two years active duty.
