Sol3 Mio is the self-titled debut studio album by New Zealand musical trio Sole Mio. It was released on 15 November 2013 by Universal Music Group. The album debuted at number 1 on the New Zealand Albums Chart, and as of 7 July 2014, has spent sixteen non-consecutive weeks at number 1. It has since been certified 6× platinum by Recorded Music NZ for shipments exceeding 105,000 copies. Sol3 Mio was recorded in London in 2013. It was produced by Nick Patrick and consists of 14 covers of opera, musical and popular classics, including two Christmas songs. The album was released on 15 November 2013 and has been certified 7× platinum by Recorded Music NZ for shipments exceeding 105,000 copies. Despite being released at the end of 2013, the album sold so well that it became the best-selling album of the year in New Zealand, beating out fellow New Zealand singer Lorde's Pure Heroine. The album also went on to become the second best-selling album of the year for 2014 in New Zealand, behind Ed Sheeran's X (Ed Sheeran album. In Australia, the album peaked at number 6 on the ARIA Albums Chart in 2014.

Hair removal improvements, ooooh! Ahhhhh!

We were vexed and a little annoyed by that one chin hair removal after a waxing treatment. Lo and behold! Zomchi invented a razor for treatments in between salon wax strips. Painless and easy to reapply hygenically. 🤗

Starting a StartUp is a must-read for anyone who wants to build something that matters

I rarely come across a book that so perfectly balances the technical and the personal in building a startup. Starting a StartUp: How to Build Something People Want does just that. It is less of a textbook and more of a companion for founders who want to build with heart and wisdom.
What I loved most:
Actionable, no-fluff advice. Instead of lofty theories, the book dives right into what really matters: validating ideas, talking to users, iterating fast, and scaling smart. The checklists, templates, and real-world examples make it easy to move from reading to doing.
Psychology + empathy. It does not treat an entrepreneur like a machine. The author emphasizes dealing with uncertainty, failure, and the emotional rollercoaster of starting something new. That human touch elevates it from “startup guide” to “founder guide.”
Accessible to novices and veterans alike. Whether you are building your first side project or scaling your third company, there is value here: reminders about customer obsession, principles for experimentation, and stories that resonate at any stage.
Readable and engaging. The prose is clear, the chapters are well-paced, and every chapter ends with key takeaways that help cement the learning.
