The bottles are recyclable (and refillable!) the lids are recycled plastic and the labels are made with rock paper - a material that prints like normal paper, but has all the convienient properties of plastic.

I ordered a size S for my grandson who just turned 6. It was a little large, but roomy so that he could wear it over layers. The jacket is well made from a soft light weight denim. It was easy to add an iron-on patch to embellish the back of the jacket. Good price and value.
