The Mystical City of God by Venerable Mother Mary of Jesus of Agreda (1602-1665) is a monumental four-volume, 2,676-page history of the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as revealed by Our Lady to this 17th-century Spanish nun. Venerable Mary saw in ecstasy all the events recorded here. Later, Our Lady told her to write them down in a book-the result is The Mystical City of God, acclaimed by Popes, cardinals and theologians, a book which has inspired the laity and the clergy for over 300 years and which has gone into sixty editions in various languages. More than just the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary, this book also contains information about the creation of the world, the meaning of the Apocalypse, Lucifer's rebellion, the location of Hell, the hidden life of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, intimate details about Our Lord's life, and many other enthralling topics. The translator, Father George J. Blatter, a Chicago priest, first read the book in German and was so impressed that he learned Spanish in order to make a proper translation into English. His first edition appeared in 1912, ten years after he had started work. The purpose of this popular abridgement is to bring to an even wider readership the sublime truths found in The Mystical City of God. Squeaker short-lived, enjoyment long-lasting

My 10-pound dorkie rips out the squeakers in about 30 minutes. I wish they were sturdier or the parts of the toy housing the squeaker were reinforced. However, he is so excited to get a new one and will continue to play with it even when the squeaker is out. He loves to play tug. They do get pretty gross from the chewing and definitely benefit from a trip through the washer.
While this is not a very sturdy toy it provides so much entertainment I had to give it four stars.

Husky Approved

Okay, so my husky, bless his cotton socks, thinks he's a furry little demolition crew. Usually, plush toys last about five minutes before they're disemboweled, leaving a fluffy white crime scene all over my living room. BUT! These Sharlovy toys are a game changer! They're stuffing-free, which is a HUGE win for my sanity (and my vacuum cleaner). He can happily gnaw away, trying to get to that squeaker (and succeeding, eventually, because, husky), but without the usual explosion of fluff. Five stars for saving me from a lifetime of stuffing-related stress. If you have a chewer, give these a try. Your house (and your head) will thank you.

No Mess, Lots of Fun!

My dog absolutely loves these toys! The squeakers and crinkle sounds keep him entertained for hours, and I appreciate that they have no stuffing—so no messy cleanup when he plays a little rough. The variety pack is great because it gives him different animals to choose from, and the toys are surprisingly durable even with lots of chewing.
They’re lightweight, easy for him to carry around, and perfect for playtime or keeping him busy when I’m working. Definitely a great value for the price, and I’ll be buying again when he wears them out. Highly recommend!
