The ring comes with a gemmological certificate dated 17. 07. 2024 (number 5784 3019) from GCS (Gemmological Certification Service) stating the ruby weights approx. 2. 60 carats, is of Burma (Myanmar)
A magnificent Burma ruby and diamond ring, which dates to the Edwardian period (1901-1910). Large natural rubies of this kind are rare and highly sought after. The stone is surrounded by a cluster of diamonds, with further diamonds on the shoulders. The ring comes with a gemmological certificate dated 17.07.2024 (number 5784-3019) from GCS (Gemmological Certification Service) stating the ruby weights approx. 2.60 carats, is of Burma (Myanmar) origin and has no indication of heating. It has since been assessed at 2.8 carats.
It would make a superb engagement ring, or a jewel for someone with a July birthday.
