Description

The primary benefits of GF1 Aftercare when used pre-treatment, or as an aftercare product to support the skin, include:

• A strong non-cytotoxic (not toxic to cells) antiseptic action against all pathogens without damaging the skin’s microbiome.
• A reduction in inflammation, which means less redness, pain and minimal downtime.
• 60% to 70% faster healing when using GF1 as directed.
• Much lower risk of Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) especially in darker skin types.

GF1 Aftercare is more concentrated than our GF2 formulations. It has been formulated with the specific intention of optimally supporting the skin after a treatment, while also effectively preparing the skin before the treatment starts.

When used for post-treatment aftercare, GF1 Aftercare assists in preventing a number of potential complications. Potential treatment complications that can result from a procedure like a chemical peel, micro-needling, laser, dermabrasion or waxing, include:

• Infection
• Scarring
• Discolouration
• Koebnerisation (a form of psoriasis)
• Rashes and delayed healing due to inflammation
• Prolonged redness of the skin

How To Use

Pre-treatment

Spray GF1 onto clean skin before any skin treatment begins. This ensures that any pathogens on the face are eliminated before the treatment.

• Wash your face with liquid skin cleanser and gently pat dry with a clean towel.
• Holding the bottle approximately 15cm from your face spritz GF1 onto the face, neck and around the eyes until the skin is moist. Any pathogens on the skin will be killed on contact.
• The treatment can now begin (skin does not have to dry).

Post-treatment

Once your skin treatment or procedure is finished follow these guidelines to speed up the healing process, prevent infection and reduce inflammation:

• Apply GF1 IMMEDIATELY after your treatment to a clean face (please wash any other lotions or product used during the treatment off first). A slight stinging or a feeling of tightness may occur for the first day of use.
• Allow the skin to dry naturally (do not wipe off). We do not recommend accelerating this natural drying process with a fan or hair-dryer as GF1 Aftercare’s key component, the hypochlorous acid (HOCl) molecule, is active when the skin is damp. Allowing GF1 to evaporate naturally means optimal contact time with the skin, and the active ingredient (HOCl) has time to be completely absorbed by the skin.
• Continue to re-apply by spraying GF1 Aftercare to the face or the area treated once every 30 minutes for the rest of the day of treatment.
• If your skin is still red the day after the treatment, keep applying GF1 Aftercare once every hour to the affected area until the skin is no longer red.
• At this point, your skin will have recovered and healed from the treatment. You can now switch back to your regular routine of GF2 morning and evening.
• Your GF1 Aftercare should be used again before your next procedure or treatment in the same way.

Note: GF1 Aftercare will not harm your eyes and is safe if you accidentally swallow some.

Precautionary Note

• DO NOT MIX GF1 Aftercare into or with any other product. Always apply GF1 onto a clean dry face, and allow it to dry completely on the skin.
• For optimal results during the post-treatment healing phase we recommend suspending the use of other products until the skin is healed. This helps to reduce the number of ingredients on the skin whilst it is in a healing phase, and minimise any potential reactions or complications.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
